Power Supply Unit
The power supply unit (PSU) with protectively insulated input circuit is intended for connecting transportable units to the mains supply. It must protect the operating personnel and plant components from unacceptably high contact voltages and overvoltage situations. The PSU comprises the mains connection box (Netz-AK D32A), which is mounted on the outer wall of the cab, and the transformer box (Transform.-K in various versions) located inside the cab. Its connector cable is protected by a corrugated metallic tube.
